Organic Pork Wraps

This recipe is one of my favourite throw together meals, its quick and super easy! perfect for busy week nights.

I hope you love it!

Ingredients:

1 tablespoon of coconut oil

1 medium brown onion finely chopped

2 garlic cloves crushed

500grams minced pork (preferably organic)

2 carrots chopped

1 cup frozen peas

1 cup mushrooms chopped

¼ cup soy sauce

1 tablespoon honey

8 large green cabbage leave

Salt and pepper to taste.

  1. Add water in steamer pot on stove to bring to boil.
  2. While water is boiling, heat oil in a separate wok or large saucepan and brown the garlic and onion until onion has softened. Add pork mince and stir until meat is browned. Add carrot, sesame seeds, soy sauce, honey, peas and mushroom. Reduce heat, stir and simmer until vegetables are cooked. Set aside. Note: if mixture is sticking to the bottom of the pan add a little bit of water to assist the simmering process.
  3. Add the cabbage to the pot and steam until just soft- you don’t want to over cook it.
  4. Divide cabbage leaves among serving plates and spoon mince mix into each leaf and create wraps.
  5. Enjoy.

Please note that I recommend using organic ingredients in all my recipes.

Let me know what you think of this recipe 🙂
