how to source beautiful simple and natural ingredients
Let’s face it, cleaning your home naturally is just as easy as cleaning it with harsh chemicals.
But it’s not great for our health. The most “difficult” part of switching to naturally is knowing where to find the products.
To start with you want to stock up on some basics that you will use everyday. These are going to become your staples.
Vinegar
Liquid castille soap
Essential Oils ( You can get these cheaper through me)
Bicarb Soda
Microfibre cloths
Spray bottles (pref glass)
OK, Amy but where do I find these?
There are some incredible places around now which is amazing! It means more and more people are switching to chemical free. Some amazing go to’s are
Vitalia ( use AMYINNES for a 5% discount)
Health Food Shops (check your local area)
This is just a short list and you can make some amazing DIY for the home with only a couple of products.
These are some FAB DIY cleaning recipes for the home that you will love!
Natural Home All Purpose Spray
- 1/2 tsp washing soda
- 1 tsp liquid castile soap
- doTERRA Essential oils – I use 4 drops lemon, 4 drops lavender, and 10 On Guard
- Glass spray bottle for storage
Natural Grout Cleaner
Mix 1 part water and 3 parts baking soda mixed into a paste, 15drops lemon essential oil. Apply to grout and let sit, scrub with toothbrush, remove with sponge.
Natural Oven Cleaner
Sprinkle bicarb soda over the oven stop, door etc.
Grab your spray bottle that will have vinegar in a spray bottle, distilled water and essential oils ( I love using lemon, on guard or tea tree oil) and spray all over.
You still see baking soda start to “foam”. Let it sit for a few minutes and wipe away.
Do a final wipe-down with your damp reusable cloth.
