6 Cleaning Problems That Oregano Can Fix

I love using Oregano essential oil in the kitchen; one drop in a spaghetti sauce or one a roast and the flavour is amazing! But this great essential oil also has great uses outside of the kitchen. Oregano has powerful cleansing properties and offers powerful anti-oxidants, making it a great essential oil for cleaning purposes. These are my top five cleaning issues that Oregano has never failed to help me with

1. Germ-y Surfaces
With Oregano’s purifying qualities, all you need to do is add a few drops to your all-purpose cleaner to ensure your surfaces are clean, but also help them remain germ-free.

2. Germ-y Corners
To keep your home clean, mix three drops of Oregano with water in a spray bottle and spray in corners of the shower, sink and other damp, dark areas.

3. Germ-y Hands
Combine one drop of Oregano essential oil, one drop of OnGuard essential oil and five drops of fractionated coconut oil and rub into your hands for a natural hand sanitiser.

4. Germ-y Laundry
Add two drops of Oregano to your next load of washing to kill bacteria and leave your clothes smelling nice and fresh.

5. Germ-y Shower
Mix a few drops of Oregano oil with water and spray in your shower (or other warm, humid areas in your home) to help prevent mould growing.

6. Germ-y Air
Diffuse Oregano essential oil in your diffuser with a few drops of On Guard essential oil to purify the air of germs during the colder months.
