Episode Forty Four: Prioritising your health
During this episode, I chat to Steph about her journey within the health industry and how she came to work within the nutrition space. Steph shares how she went on a journey of uncovering the power of real food and how it supported her to resolve her own personal mental health issues in her late teens to early twenties. During this time, she found there was a gap and confusion in this space and because of her own personal experience she was inspired to help others. She now busts health myths, by breaking down the challenges in the nutrition space and helps others prioritise their health.
Steph talks about ways that we can prioritise our health, the myths around nutrition and how to be educated about optimising our health. Steph shares foundational tips for life around eating real foods that have less human intervention and that nurture our bodies.
Throughout this episode we discuss current world events, medical freedom and how we can best support our own health. We talk about how we can create a balanced view, having the right to use our voice to share our own personal views. We discuss how people on social media are being silenced for having a different opinion other than what we are being told by the media. We talk about ways that you can form your own opinion, how to research and find other answers. How we can go into things with an open mind and knowing that we cannot know everything.
Steph talks about opening up awareness with our health and stripping back the noise and working out what is truly important to us. Steph shares how she finds balance between work and life. Offering her go to tools that best support her to life a more balanced life.
